Mon. Dec. 1:  Grade 8 Games Club is cancelled today due to a First Aid course taking place in the Seminar Room.

Tues. Dec. 2.:  - HS Animanga Club is cancelled today due to a First Aid course taking place in the Seminar Room.

Grade 7 Games Club is cancelled today due to a First Aid course taking place in the Seminar Room.

Eric Walters Visiting in the afternoon.  The Learning Commons will be closed for Grade 7/8 Lunch today due to the presentation.

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Vocal Ensemble Members:  There will be a regular Tuesday morning rehearsal on December 2ndbeginning at 7:30 am.  Music for upcoming liturgy will be covered so please be in attendance. (RL Dec. 1)

Alpine Ski Team: Our next practice will be in room 303 Thursday December 4 during both lunches.   Please bring your lunch.  All team fees should be submitted to Mrs. Brady before December 12, 2014.  Unfortunately they can't be paid using the new on-line payment system this year. (AB Dec. 4)

Biology Competition prep Monday Dec 1 in room 202 at lunch. Please bring your lunch. (SS Dec. 1)

A few spots are still open for the Boston Trip.  Want to see the Yankees play the Red Sox in May??  Want to visit Harvard U?  How about seeing Boston Gardens??  Pop by room 216 for a form. (LB Dec. 1 )

Attention all HISTORY ON FILM club members, our next film will be Forrest Gump taking place on Wednesday December 3, 2014.  We will be looking at issues such as the Vietnam War, civil rights, US presidencies and hippies to name a few. Berrigan Elementary School is hosting an informative talk about healthy food for schools with guest speakers: Dr. Freedhoff, Nadine Hodgins and Jamie Hurst. Looking for student volunteers who are interested in babysitting on Tuesday November 25th the night of talk, from 6-9pm for some volunteer hours.  Please contact Esmat Fares Salameh252@yahoo.ca 613-797-4004

UNB is hosting a parent/student night at the Lord Elgin Hotel on November 27th, at 7 pm.

The session features a presentation and a chance to talk with UNB representatives about admissions, scholarships, student life and more. (KW Nov. 27)

Ambassadors help out with interview nights, open house, different initiatives around the school such as kindness week, the welcome BBQ in August and much more. Author Visit - Eric Walters Dec. 3 (PM)

Alpine Ski Team: Skiers in grades 7-12 interested in racing for the Alpine Ski team are invited to sign up outside room 201. Skiers who are intermediate or above are able to try out.  The only requirement is that you own your own equipment and are eager to learn how to race.  We will have dry-land as well as on-hill training before the race days.  The snow is on its way soon!  Please see Mrs. Brady if you have any questions. Are you interested in getting involved in the school and helping out as an ambassador?

Ambassadors help out with interview nights, open house, different initiatives around the school such as kindness week, the welcome BBQ in August and much more. Pick up an application in Student Services ASAP. Fill it out, have your parents sign it as some activities take place outside the school day then return to student services by Thursday Nov 20th.
